About (Biography)

Lynn Langway is an award-winning editor, writer and journalism teacher. Her articles about travel, business and lifestyle topics have appeared in The New York Times, the Washington Post, Money, The Nation and other publications.

As a newspaper and online reporter, she's covered politics from city halls to the White House. As a Newsweek  Senior Editor, she uncovered social trends both serious (the anti-smoking movement) and fun (video gaming).  As Executive Editor of Ladies' Home Journal, she increased coverage of women's health.
 
Now, as a freelance journalist and editorial consultant, she plans and runs special projects, edits and writes for clients ranging from Business Week and Fortune Small Business to Real Simple and Women.com. She has taught editing and writing at New York University and Northwestern,where she earned a BSJ and MSJ with honors.
